Specialized Reunion Support

Reunion can be beautiful…and overwhelming.

It’s not just a single moment — it’s a journey. I work with teens, adults, and families who are reconnecting after time apart, especially in adoption. Maybe you’ve found a biological family member, or maybe you’ve been found, and now you’re wondering: What happens next?

The truth is, there’s no rule book for this. Reunion can stir up excitement, joy, grief, confusion — often all at once. It’s a big mix of emotions, and it’s okay if you’re not sure how to navigate them.

That’s where I come in. I offer a space to slow down, talk things through, and figure out what’s best for everyone involved. We’ll explore boundaries, expectations, emotional safety, and how to keep connection healthy as the relationship grows. My job isn’t to tell you exactly what to do, but to help you feel grounded, supported, and clear as you take each step forward.

You don’t have to figure reunion out alone.

Navigating Reunion Self Guided Journal

I created this guided journal for adoptees who are navigating the deeply personal journey of search and reunion. Inside, you’ll find prompts that walk alongside you through the many stages—beginning to meet family members, building and nurturing relationships, setting healthy boundaries, and holding space for loss and grief.

The 10 chapters weave together reflections on complex moments, including the experience of death within reunion and for intercountry adoptees there is a chapter addressing the emotional journey of reuniting with your birth country. My hope is that these pages offer you a place to process, reflect, and make meaning in your own way.
